I have a 75gal tank.
eheim 2217
magnum 350
eheim 300watt heater

13 cichlids, 3 small, 10 sm/medium size.

I have an "air plate" that has a 50gal (rated) air pump.
(2) maxijets (900 and 1200) both have air setup to run through.

(here's a small pic)

Since I have the intakes for the filters in the center of the tank, and the outlets on the outside edges where the powerheads help flow.
Normally the fish stay at low and middle levels, but some venture up further when swimming and feeding.

Do I have too much water flow/movement and aeration?

aeration, no you do not have too much. As for flow, do they fish struggle? I would doubt you have too much. A lot of africans will stay low or in the middle The higher the rock the higher they will go
