What other fish will live with a needlenose

I can't find a fish that will live with a needlenose they always eat the tank mate or the tank mate picks on the needlenose or eats him.:( will u plz give me some ideas plz:(

ok well i doubt any cichlids will go with it maybe a silver dollar or a pictus catfish.

ok but i want some type of ciclid is there any that will live with a needlnose that is a ciclid

well it couldnt be an elongated chiclid like a pike unless it was pretty big u could try a deep body fish

a deep body fish is a fish that is pretty tall and a needle fish in the hobby eat guppies rosy reds and sometimes goldfish and most of those r long an slender so get something built like an oscar or flowerhorn but those r a lil to mean and big so i would probaly suggest even though their not cichlids, either a moray eel or a puffer but a puffer might be a lil mean but those r both brackish

no i said something built like one but flowerhorns r pretty mean and i would suggest a moray eel cause they have big teeth but it might eat ur needle fish but a puffer might do pretty good those r pretty mean too
