The long awaited contest is finally here! For this month's contest, the winner receives a 1 year subscription to one of the following magazines:

Tropical Fish Hobbyist
Aquarium Fish Magazine

Please review the following guidelines for this contest.

Guidelines:

*Any registered member of MFK is eligible to enter this contest.

Limited one photo entry per member per contest.

**Photo(s) submitted must be the original work of the submitter.

Any manipulated or tampered photograph(s) aided by the use of any image/graphic enhancing programs or software must be conferred by the MFK staff (all changes made to the original photo must be cited).

MFK POTM Contest will only admit aquatic-related animal/plant photos. Subject(s) may be, but not limited to be one or more of the following:

Fish
Plants
Invertebrates
Reptiles
Amphibians
Mammals

Members may submit their entry at any time, however, only those submitted prior to the deadline, which is the last day of each month at 11:59 PM EST may enter the contest for the preceding month.

Contest begins on the first of each month. There will be a limited 14 day (11:59 PM EST ) voting period, followed by the selection of a winner with the highest number of votes. If in the instance of more than one winner is selected (same number of votes), a secondary voting contest would be held to determine the grand prize winner.

Prize(s) may vary per contest, which would be determined each month before the contest.

Winner of a POTM contest will not be eligible to enter another POTM contest for the next three months, to ensure fairness and opportunity for other participants to win.

To enter this contest, you must adhere to the above guidelines. By submitting your entry to this contest, you hereby endorse the following terms:

Participants who submit any malicious, inappropriate, or unrelated material(s) to MFK may be penalized for such behavior or action.

MFK reserves all right to deny or reject any submission. Any instance of discrepancies or questions must be disserted with the MFK Administration Team.


*Members on "Probation" status may not be qualified to enter the contest. Members who have previously offended one or more rules of this contest may be restricted to partake this and/or any future contests and community events bestowed or sponsored by MFK.

**Participants who violate any copyright law(s) or falsely claim the work of others for submission to this contest will be penalized. Such action may result in restricted participation in this and/or any future contests and community events bestowed or sponsored by MFK.
