I emailed the seller of the Leos on aquabid last night saying that I would be in Charolette for the next few days and I'd like to come to their location to purchase one of their rays with cash here was their response:

Welcome and thanks for responding to our product,

on the contrary we are a small company bass in UK, but now have our current branch in Cameroon, where all our fishes are been grown. we have the main pond here in Cameroon and can deliver to any location in the world especially United state,
we target USA because we were inform that they are alot of buyers and people who needed this specie of fish,
this fishes will be sell on an auction sales price,
$600 for one pair.
giving that the buyer pays for the delivery fee and we give out on C.O.D,
the buyer pays $20 upfront for taxes and custom clearance before shipping
our company works in collaboration with the shipping company,
therefor Freight fee will be pay by the buyers directly at the shipping agency and that will cost you $330 of any amount you intern to have from us.
we will want to know
1) how many fishes do you want, and which of them?
2) provide us with your delivery location as follows
full names as receiver >
House address If you want door a delivery >
Nearest Airport At your location >
phone and Fax Numbers as to received documents and phone calls
by airport or Our company.
get back to us if you are interested in having our fishes ASAP.

They did say you only paid $20 up front and the rest C.O.D. plus the shipper amount. Would be a tempting investment. Sounds like at the worst you lose $20.

I can't stress this enough....be careful with your money.

A prolific ray retailer used to say, "compare animals, not prices."

I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for. There are a lot of blak rays available in the states these days. Buy one from a reputable seller, there are several on this board.
