My stingray shed its old sting and I seen it in the tank. It's all white now.

How and when do you recommend removing the barb from the tank in a safe manner? How do you dispose of it safely?

thanks in advance.

same as Nic.. scoope using net or just pick it up from the tank using my hand. then either keep it to show ppl how the sting looks like..or throw in away safely.

Where the heart is!!!
Easiest thing to do is when you siphon and/or do water changes, just remove the spines then using the net.
