I am thinking of buying a guys tank off of craigslist that he offered me since I'm looking for a tank. -- It is a 75 gallon with a small wrought iron stand- I will attach pic-- he also build his own custom light fixture, which consists of eight 40w T-12 48" tubes- is that good?

He says he has 80lbs of live sand in it, a 300W heater, a hob filter which to me looks like a marineland Bio-wheel filter--

He also has a CPR overflow box and a 30g sump tank with Plexiglas baffles in it and all the pumps for it to work.

There is also a small chip which should lower the price a little but I don't think will cause any problems in leaking. - It's very minuscule and only about 2" from the top of the tank.

What kind of price range do you think would be good to offer for all this stuff? It looks pretty old/ a little beat up but it all looks like it could be put to good use!-- Any ideas?

Thanks a ton!!!

lol the pump look like my mag drive 9

i wouldnt pay more for 200 for it. maybe 300 because of the light.

buy the biggest tank you can afford, it will save you money in the long run. When you feel like you want a bigger tank.

Really though.. the sand alone is worth 200.00. I would offer 300.00 cash. I think you will end up spending on a better stand and hood. But worth 300.00 I think.
