I first started using the generic white filter pads from LFS, then switched to the polyfill batting from the LFS, then switched to polyfill quilt batting from the crafts store, and while I was there, I noticed this foam. From what I could see on the package, it's 100% polyfill (just compressed), but it's nice and thick 2-2.5" and I thought it would make a great filter pad over the LFS skinny ones. Anyone used this?

I use it with no problems what so ever.

Works great and its washable for a few times any way. unlike regular batting.

It seems like it would work safely. The only things that makes me uneasy is the "flame-retardant" trait. As long as it's naturally flame retardant and not chemically enhanced, it must be fine to use.
