Hey guys! It has been awhile since I posted here. I finaly got a BAT(135 with 55 sump) I am interested in stocking some predatory fishes. I am interested in Bischir, datnoid, and possibly a lima shovelnose. I need more ideas and possible compatibility issues.

What are the dimensions of the tank? I'm guessing it will be too small for the limas, I'm not really sure about dats-I know little about them, but there are several bichir species that would work in that size tank

lima, datnoid, and many bichir species will be fine in there as well as compatible. most fish besides some cichlids will be fine with other so long as they cant eat others or be eaten.

i think the width won't be sufficient enough for the lima. clown knife woul be great because it has a more flexible body.

lima is fine it gets 18 including tail wich is very flexible and about 3" so really more like 15" in 18 wide
CK gets 24+ in a 18 wide tank :screwy:

Another question. My aquarium has overflows. I was wondering if canister filters can be plumbed directly to overflows instead of a sump.
