Just got my self a 39x20x20inch tank ( about 70Gal ) , and would like to set it up as a Malawi Cichlid tank filtered most likely by a Fluval 405 .

I have had a look though the internet and like this selection of fish but have no idea how many would be good , how many in total and how many of each type would be best for the size of tank i have ( for life ) .
Auloncara Eureka Red Flash
Aulonocara baenschi benga
Aulonocara Calico
Aulonocara hansbaenschi
Aulonocara jacobfreibergi
Aulonocara kandensis
Aulonocara marleri
Aulonocara maylandi
Aulonocara stuartgranti
Aulonocara stuartgranti "Chipoka" - Red Rubin
Aulononcara stuartgranti usisya

So what you all think ?

I use to keep two peacock species of multible males in a 75g long (5foot) and they got along pretty well. Aulonocara sp. ruby red and Aulonocara Stuartgranti "ngara". The ngara is a spectacular fish, you might want to see about the availability.

Just my opinion but they might a little cramped in that 39" tank of yours. They are very much free swimmers, only seldom would they take advantage of all the rock work I had made for them.
