For the first time in the world these fish can be purchased from a breeder :)
And this is at the fish store i usually go to, right here in Denmark!

I'm soo tempted to go get myself a new tank and start up some malawi's.
Too bad they won't be able to cope with my SA cichlids hehe :D

Anyone jealous? :)

They are pretty expensive, but the store co owner caught them himself, and he now has masses of them.
He sells 5 juvies for approx 220$
But i think they are worth. Definately one of the cooler deep water malawi's!

The only diplotaxodon limnithrissa ever exported were collected by Dr Martin Genner. He then took them to the exporter Stuarts Grant where they were kept until shipped back to the uk. Whilst he was staying at the Grants place Dr Genner gave some to a Danish guy( I think he was called Carsten). These were the fish that went to Denmark. No shopkeeper caught them, they are deep water fish and cannot be collected alive under normal circumstance. Descendants of these fish still live in the uk and elsewhere.
