I've been keeping arowanas and other monsters in my 200 gallon tank for a couple years now. I decided that my tank looked like too much of a zoo, with all sorts of random stuff from all across the world. I thought long and hard about what I should do with it, and fell back on a plan I had when I was a kid, a frontosa colony. I had one frontosa when I was about fifteen but had him in with some oscars and other random fish. Eventually I had to move and sell them all off and I've been looking at them ever since! (over a decade)

Finally! I've picked up some of these wonderful cichlids and I'm extremely excited about them. My tank now has 9 frontosa (burundi, I think) and 3 julidochromis (unknown species, really tiny). I can't wait to watch these guys grow up over the next few years. Although, my fiance doesn't care for the big heads, but hopefully she'll get over it in time. I keep telling her they're pyshic fish!

:grinno:
