Green water just means you have algal bloom. Check your ammonia, nitrate and phosphate levels. How long do you leave your lights on? Does your tank get exposed to sunlight? If so, how long? What is your lighting capacity? A complete blackout for a few days, UV sterilizer, barley extracts or unloading of heavy thickets of fast growing plants such as Egeria densa will help with your problem.

:naughty:this is most likely from being exposed to sunlight . is ur tank near any windows?

Yeah its im my basement... Its very sunny down there in the AM and fairly lit up all day long (no need for lights until dark)... Is there anyway to get rid of it?
