The floor has a concrete reinforced base for earthquakes under the tile so I'm not too worried. I put door windproofing foam under the stand to protect the tile.
No problem with the jag, but I attribute that to all the space. I wouldn't try it in a smaller tank.

I'm looking for one of those pro versions too...I have the regular mag float acrylic which isn't too effective as I have to go slow on them so they don't come apart....most places I see online in the States are $250.....any other cheaper place to grab one of those...?

I think I paid around $200. Not sure where I got it. Maybe pet mountain or Dr foster and smith.
The magnet is very powerful, but I still need to go slow and spend a lot of time in some spots. I was expecting a bit more but it does a fairly decent job of getting the little stuff that builds up.

My rays are from Oliver at below water out of Montreal. I've always gotten my rays from Oliver. Very knowledgable and have time to talk fish with you.
