yellow tail spiny eel maximum length in an aquarium

i can read online articles all day long but i am hoping for a response from someone with personal experience with these fish, just exactly how long do they get in captivity? iv got one right now thats about 5" and is getting pretty beefy, can i expect even more growth?

8" is consider large, 10" would be freakish, 12" would be a monster for a yellow tail. 18" in wild, average is 6" in an aquarium...

I have one, I've had him about 10 months or so.. he hasn't grown much since I bought him.. and right now he is about 6".

hi i have one of these and he is about 4 inches right now. ive read online they can get up to seven inches normally. i hope mine gets bigger thoe
