Hey! i have a Pacu and i was wondering would he do ok with live plants and some hiding spots in a freshwater 20G tank alone? thanks :asianarow

Thought you had a piranha? oh well anyway they get ginormous so nah wont last in a 20

As said to you before,you should take it back asap,if the lfs where yougot it wont take it try everywhere else because you cannot care for it properly.

ok well will they just take it for free? or will they pay me but, dont they have to have other Pacu?

thats a pacu. yep

take it back to the store a 20g is insuitable for a piranha or a pacu

a red bellied piranha grows to 12" and requires a 40 gallon breeder for 1

a pacu grows to atleast 36" and requires a pond......




get some exodons for that 20g



i would just see if the LFS will take it back if they pay you for it even better

Do what is best for the fish. Some LFS will give little to none at all for taking in a fish.

Yea take it back it if you cant get a much much much much larger tank, and depending on where you got it they may give you store credit to use for something that stays much smaller
