Here is my setup.

Tank
-55 gal
-Planted
-driftwood
-caves(terracottas plates
-300watt heater
-2x 54w HO T5 lighting
-2x aquaclear 300 filters
- fluval 2 plus submersable filter

Fish
-8 kribensis
-12 zebra danios
-2 bristlenose plecos

would like to add more color into the mix wanted some rams but i dont think this will be good because 8 kribs is already a bit too much for the bottom.

I think i would like a mid to top dweller that is bright in color or blue. thought about dwarf gouramis but heard that they die within the first couple of months and that they are fairly hard to keep.
thank you for the input in advance.

How about 12-15 cardinal tetras? They have really brilliant blue and red.

if you move out some of the kribs (which you will probably have to do eventually anyway), then you can add another type of dwarf cichlid in there; whether bolivians, curviceps...or to stay with the African cichlids, buffaloheads
