thats wierd but i remember a thread a while back with a dood saying he could acclimate freshwater and saltwater fish. he got majorly flamed of course. then i remember someone put a post on there that had some advertised product which makes it possible for fresh and salt to live together. of course i think its kinda bogus but u guys can check it out. im not brave enough to test it.

I have heard that some south american species can be acclimated verrrrryyyy slooowwwwly to salt water. I guess it makes sense especially for species found in the amazon river basin that could swim out to sea if they felt the fishy need too. A buddy of mine has been telling me since I got my saltwater tank that I should do it with a goldfish, which also can apparently be acclimated to saltwater.
