Monster Fish Keepers will not allow any posts which incorporate politics or religion in any form in the forums. This includes but is not limited to words and/or insinuations in avatars, posts, and/or signatures. Monster Fish Keepers will make every effort to remove any such avatars, posts, and/or signatures which does such with editing and/or deleting as deemed necessary.

This entire section is in direct conflict with MFK TOS

This forum has been in existence for more than a year. This is the first time we received such a complaint and on an unusual time at that.

Note HOWEVER that while this seems political, this IS a fish forum and THIS particular issue is QUITE related to our hobby hence why we are permitting such discussions pertaining to this subject exist in order for us to avoid more stringent regulations that could be the kiss of death for local aquarium trades. We do discourage however that political discussions in this particular arena go downhill to personal griping. That doesn't help.

The whole purpose of this forum's existence is to let people sharing a common interest and passion gather together in order to put a stop on something that would permanently dent the hobby especially when you consider that most countries' economy rely heavily on the imports and exports of pets with fish comprising the most and more than furry pets do.

The argument here is moot. We really do not tolerate political propaganda but not all issues especially one that affects the aquarium hobby MAJORLY need censorship and as long as discussions are kept MATURE.

My response to your query on this matter should have been the end of it:

"Showing a bill proposition that impacts our hobby is a far cry from showing a pic of Obama in clownface makeup. Didn't it occur to you that a large number of our membership would see that as insulting and disrespectful?"

If you don't like the way matters are handled here, log off and troll somewhere else.
