Nice fish, wish I could get one but I don't have room for a 6' fish. I'll stick with my Florida gar.

hes in a 30g right now growin then when he gets a little bigger to the 80g then 250g so on an so forth till he gets big enough for the pond i was thinkin id have him the pond in about a year an a half to two depends on how quick he grows hes only bout 5 maybe 6 inches at the right now

Not necessarily... Depending on the water status and feeding level he could run through a few tanks for a while.
I mean I've had my boy for 2 years now and he's still in a tank... however he's been though about 5-6 so far but his growth rate has slowed down allot, where I think I can keep him like this for another year maybe 2. Then to the indoor pond, then the natural pool where I can swim with him. :headbang2
