For those of you who have bred or are breeding stingrays what type of filtration and size tank are you using? I am curious to see how many just use canisters and not wet/dry.

Wet dry here. Canisters are gonna be tough to keep clean in a tank you're trying to breed rays in if you consider the rediculous amount of food involved. I'd also be weary of the small amount of room for bio media.

sumps only here

most tanks suitable for breeding are too big for canisters to handle.

u could easily do 1 pair of rays in a 220 with a few canisters though...

Home made wet dry box on top of my tank. 400 gallon pond. I also have a 60 gallon acrylic tank with a built in bio ball box on the back of it. The pups go in the 60 gallon when their born so they stay in the same water. I have a mag 350 for polishing.
