Tank minimum for 2 tiger oscars? opinions

What is the tank minimum for 2 oscars? I saw someone with 3 in a 90gal. So wht is the minimum for2 oscars. I have geard alot of 100 n over or 120 n over. So what do you guys think?

This is a topic in which there will not be agreement among posters.

For everyone who has successfully raised and bred oscars in a 55g...there will be people who consider anything less than 75g per oscar to be "torture"...and people in between.

Oscar health is largely based on care. Smaller tanks will require more water changes.

ok cause im growin out 2 rite now n need to get a bigger tank when there full grown. Ill proobly run a fx5 and ac110 on it. Mine r gr8t together. Cld i mayb add in a spiney eel like a fire eel?

Ok, i saw hamza had 3 in a 350 liter if i converted it rite thats 90gallons. So i cld do my 2 tigers in the 90 wit no other tankmates? Wit the proper filtration.

Yes you could, provided they get along. That's the key though...if they continue to get along you can do 2 in a 75 provided you're prepared to do A LOT of w/c. If you've got the space though I'd hold out for a 125, then you could try an eel or other tankmates, and not be stuck doing up to 2 50% w/c weekly.
