They are very aggressive fish and should be kept singly. They can max out at about 16.9'' TL. Temp should be around 75-79F. I think they can be kept in full freshwater, but I'm not quite sure about that. I'm sure someone will chime in and tell you.

They're a freshwater puffer with the potential to grow up to 18 inches. They would require 120g minimum. They need a diet of hard shelled food such as mollusk and crustaceans to keep their teeth worn down. They're aggressive and don't really accept tankmates including each other.

Its usually a hit or miss, different puffers have different tolerance. You can try, but prepared to come home to a pleco bitten in half.

people say not to. However I always see youtube video's of fahaka's with other fish in the tank usually small community fish. Maybe their feeders but the puffers dont seem interested. I wouldn't suggest keeping anything valuable with them that is for sure :)
