Hi,

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this.

I need to transport giant snakehead fish, about 80cm long.

If I want to transfer the fish, say from perth to sydney, what is the best way to make sure that the packaging is safe?

Essentially, what needs to be done to prepare the packaging? (e.g. big plastic bag?)

Thanks in advance

um is this delivery or are you moving?if moving i would say you need some type of large container obviously big enough to house it and very secure lid, when someone came a four hour drive to pick up my 14+inch tinfoils,,he travelled round country collecting pacu's and large catfish,he had a contraption which was of a very tough material similar to tarpoling, which he thread metal rods through the top to make a very large enclosure,at the top it zipped across for the four corners which met in the middle, creating a little gap of air and water to fall back into the "bag"..it was very novel...we filled it with about eighty or more litres from my tank...

An ordinary camping cooler works surprisingly well.

X2 with the camping cooler but they're only good up to a certain size fish. Plastic totes are also a good thing. To use.
