Attention: All tall tank owners, 21" and up, here is a thread to post some pics of your tanks, and setups. I am about to own a 78x24x36"T 300g and noticed that tall tanks are not necessarily the "IN THING" in MFKeeping, or is it just me. Never the less I think i would be a good thing to see what all the other Tall tank owners are doing with that "wasted height" :)

that is DEFINITELY a good deal! i paid a lot for my tank setup, but its acrylic and was in great shape. tall tanks are much more expensive because the extra height creates more water pressure requiring thicker materials. IMO there is nothing like standing in front of a 3ft tank thats on a tall stand. its an awesome view :)

BTW it is made out of 3/4" acrylic also. He says it has not had water in it since he bought; when it was full of water. Base on what you stated: "tall tanks are much more expensive because the extra height creates more water pressure requiring thicker materials." will i have to worry about it leaking?

it is 6 1/2 feet tall at the top 18 inches wide and 3 feet tall. I have toyed with many ideas as to what to do with it.

i dont think so, but it wouldnt hurt to ask him to do a test fill. my 6x3x3 is also made out of 3/4" acrylic all around with a double layer lip up top which gives me a completely open top, not common with acrylic tanks
