Hi all !!!
The new tank is at home, 250x100x50cm (8,2x3,2x1,6ft). I already have a male MM and a Pseudoplatystoma fasciatum, and next weekend i´ll go to pick up my new young Leo male. I´m afraid of the young baby being beaten up by the adult, so i order a removable division in the tank. Will i need it from day one?, any experience?, will the adult bite or harass the young?, or if there is no female in the tank there is no reason for rivalry.

Thanks in advance
Ernesto Roa.

usually the only problem is between mature males. i doubt they will give the little guy any problems as long as the size difference isnt too great

I would put the separation in for at least the first month and the release the male at a time when you're at home for a while so you can keep and eye out for any problems.

18" against a 6"er. Thats a pretty big difference. I would expect it to be okay since the smaller one isnt even mature yet, but keep your eyes out anyways.
X2. You just have to watch and see.
