Where the Sun is Warm
These guys were sold to me as shortnose gar. Since I haven't ever seen juvenile ones and the pics I can find are of larger specimens I need a bit of help. I'm pretty sure they are shortnose but it never hurts to be sure.
PS I put them in my little make-shift photo tank for the pics, they are living in my pond.

i do believe they are. were did u get them? that would help
would be best to grow them out in a tank with alot of food before a pond. that way u can really power feed them

I got them from TFD. My pond is mostly fancy goldfish and a ton of mosquito-fish (Gambusia affinis), I would guess about 3lbs worth of them and they are always breeding in there. And since it's breeding season for goldfish, they will have a field day when the goldfish fry hatch. I got three of them but could only catch the two for the pics.
