So Now that my two florida gars were the only two fish in the 250gal I figured it would be okay to add the little fish from the 55gal growout tank into here. The two floridas only eat non live food so they are not at all interested in the little guys.

Anyways....I added the hujeta gar and he immediately pretty much attached himself to his adoptive parents :D He doesn't leave their side and follows them everywhere! They don't seem to mind but it cracks me up! Just wanted to share

...if the FL gars are kept very well fed the smaller fish might make it for a while, but this is a risky combo at best for the hujeta gar. instinct inevitably wins out in these situations, just a forewarning--
