Got the Dat bug from MFK, did my research and got my first Dat today! Am so excited right now.

Seems to be doing quite well considering its being chased by my discus (of all things!). Didn't know Dats were such push overs. A little on the dark side but bars are still prominent. Still very very happy with my new fish.

Need a little advice though.. do Dats swim wish a slight list? Or is mine still getting used to its new environment. The list seem to diminish, the longer its in the tank, but i am still a little worried. Any advice?

Please pardon the low quality photos. :D

16!!! Awesome. I doubt I could afford that many. Mine is either a ST or an NTT. Cost about 20 US Dollars here in Malaysia.

I thought 3 is the magic number. :D Well the minimum.

Does having more then one Dat make them more stable?
Please somebody say YES. :D
How about mixing ITs, STs, and NTTs?

Please somebody say YES. :D NOT NECESSARILY.

MIXING DIFFERNET TYPES OF DATNOIDS, WILL NOT NECESSARILY MAKE THEM MORE STABLE. IT WILL HOWEVER, MAKE THEM MORE ACTIVE AND SWIM ABOUT MORE. IT WILL ENCOURAGE THEM TO DISPLAY MORE, BUT DOESNT MEAN THEY WILL REMAIN STABLE FOR EVER.
FORGET ABOUT MIXING ST'S UNLESS YOU GONNA PAY BIG $$$$

Ade >> Thanks for the info. Having lively Dats would be wonderful.
Yes, small (read affordable) STs are nigh impossible to find.
