Getting a 75g, thinking about Datnoids.

Yes you could keep them in a 55g or a 75g but only when they are small.
Im assuming you know how big they get.

its not about how many fish you have its the fact that they wont have swimming room to really stretch they leg/fins out how would you feel if you where confined to a jail sell all your life not good huh you go crazy
get them but you should also think about expanding in the near future

And if you get 3 and they grow like they should,they WILL get bigger than 12" obviously a lot of factors affect this but id expect 12" to be a minimum unless its stunted.
As said before get them but be prepared for a big upgrade somewhere down the line.

125 should be plenty of space for a 12 inch maybe + fish not for life but to be ok bigger tanks are always better but its sufficient nice pickup on the tank any pics of your setup?
