Hi' Guy's I currently have two very small male rectic rays in my 4x2x2 which are eating and growing well , im looking into getting another tank by the end of next month at the very latest and was just wondering about tank sizes for breeding them and keeping them normally.
I am most likely going to be getting a 72"x28"24 or a 72"x24"x24"

How big should the rays be before i move them out of the tank? I'll have a trio of gar's in the other tank with some bichir's so do not want them getting eaten. At the moment the biger ray is about 8inch including tail and the smaller one about 6 inch including tail.
With the two rectic's being male will they still fight without a female in the tank as they mature?

I should be getting some Scobina pup's before the end of the year (hopefully 2 females and one male) , would i need to remove the rectic rays to stop them hybridising?

Cheers
Ben
