I just rehome my ray to a 500gallon tank. The new tank has big river rock and a sand island that's for her. She about 6inches in diameter. She just hang out on the tank wall and haven't eaten for about 3days. I've try feeding using a feeder stick but she's not taking it. Should i move her back to the 100 gallon with no substrate?

Thanks

Where the heart is!!!
She may just be taking a little time to adjust and settle in. Are the water parameters/temperature the same in both tanks? The reason I ask is because I move rays between tanks all the time and they usually settle in in no time...But that's because all my parameters are just about identical in every tank.

Thanks for replying Kolossus.......... yes both tank parameter are the same... i experience this same behavior when i first bought her home. It take her a couple days to settle. I'm just nervous that she's not eating. I'll try getting some bloodworm and soaked it in a strainer for her. The one they use to feed discuss......

it's hard to feed her cause of the rock and sand substrate....
