probably right. I just know that mine doesn't move unless you throw food right in front of it. Then it snaps it quicker than I can see, and settles back to the bottom after a few seconds to wait on more food(prey).

Oh thats what you think lol. I am planning my big pond...still. Eventually I will get it done. Have to finish building my brothers room downstairs then we will work on that. I was thinking 8x8. What do you think would be the best cat for that? I really want a RTC cuz they are monsters that I have always wanted to keep.

8x8x3 would work great for a rtc. Even better if you could extend one of those dimensions to 10' just for a little extra swim space. You could probably keep a few large cats in there, just don't go overboard.

hey keep up the good work. i have a wild cought channel cat that i cought in a small lake in oregon when he was about 1.5" now he's about a year older and pushin 16". its super aggressive towards my pacu but has always got along great with me oscars. id like to ditch my oscars and pick up one of those RT/SN hybrids.id really appriciate seeing a bio on a channel though.
