picked up a new ray the other day . hes really tiny and couldnt resist. heard so much about them being hard to keep and not had one for so long so gave in to temptation.

there were 5 rays in the tank all the same size but 3 were particuarly skinny and one had a short tail. so i took what i thought was the pick of the bunch and the result was this nice looking lil teeny tiny ray :)

WOOAH! he's tiny! the first pic made him look like an average size adult!:nilly:

haha yeah i cant beleive how small he is. im not sure ive seen a smaller ray before but ive already got him eating prawns so he should have a growth spurt any time soon :)

have you measured him? i'm interested to know his disc size :) good luck with him!

i have 2 fairly new ones myself. bought them at 3.5" (male and female, she is slightly larger) and they are now a little over 4" disc size.

super cute, awesome creatures!
