One of my wife's requirements for me getting another cichlid tank is that I set up a fluval edge so that she can have a clown fish. I was hoping some one can recommend a reputable website or book for the basics of saltwater, all I know I you use a device hydrometer to check the level of the salt.

Thanks

Will cover all your needs but sometimes a little hard to find info, feel free to ask me or anyone else here as most of us are more then willing to help someone new.
Glad to see another experienced reefer recommending the use of WWM...great site. That should do it...keep in mind a fluval edge is a very small tank...(7g I think?)...either way it might not be the best choice for a first saltwater tank.

Yeah, I hear the smaller the tank the less forgiving. I'm hoping that if I learn what parameters I need I can be really anal for a few months till I get the hang of things
