Does salt and fresh have different nitrobacter and nitrosomas??

Can I take a fully established freshwater tank and switch it to saltwater without cycling or are the bacterias totally different??

As far as I'm aware the nitrogen cycle bacteria in freash and salt are different.

Yes, they a re different..
You will have to Scrub the tank COMPLEATLY if you ever treated with copper or anything else..
bleach water, then vinager water.. then dry out and freshwater rinse..
You basically have to start all over with the proper sand, rock and water.
