I got this guy a week ago from a friend. He was pretty beat up Slowly he comeling back to full par. This is my second Gold Saum i have had. The first one died of a good old age. This noobie becoming more and more active showing he getting beter in heath

the first pic is about 5 min after added to the tank. the second pic about 4 hours later. The last 2 pic were taking today.

A little over 2 weeks now. His fins are healing but slowly

Week 4 now and the back fin is just about totaly healed. She doing good.

This is the definition of save! Your gold saum looks like it will be a stunner when it gets more size to it.

How sure are you that it's female?

I'm thinking male, especially with the colored scales on the forehead. Lot of potential in this fish!

I really like the way the healed tissue on the tail has the irridescence to it, very cool.
