Guys, please be reminded that before you post your topic, think first where the topic is MOST appropriate. For instance, if you were asking solely on puffer fish, then that topic must be posted in the Puffer fish section. Oscars go into Central and South American Cichlids section.
I understand that there are those especially new to the hobby who may be unsure of the proper category a particular fish falls in in which case I understand completely the necessity to post here in GAD forum instead. However, for those who ALREADY have knowledge of where the topic shall be appropriate, please do post them where they should be. This will not only lessen the moderators' burden to move the threads as appropriate BUT also PREVENT stagnation in some areas and makes researching for particular topics much easier when you can simply select a particular forum you know the fish is discussed most within.
If you are quite confused navigating the forums to post where appropriate, please do seek your fellow members' help when you can. I am sure that help will be given where it is most needed. Don't be afraid to ask for help. There is no reason why you should be.
Please consider the benefits why threads should be where they are most appropriate. If you think the particular area has been dormant, bumping (once per day) is necessary. Be patient though if nobody replies yet. Eventually, one is bound to encounter the topic and hopefully give you the answer you are looking for.
After all, Monster Fish Keepers forum is one of the biggest sites with a rather heavy traffic so we should NOT doubt its capability in providing you all the answers you need.
I do hope this clears up why we try to keep every area in this forum balanced as much as possible. Please do your part in doing this by encouraging the use of all sections when necessary.
Thank you and good day to everyone!
