It's hard to call this a new setup, as the tank is about thirty years old...
I need an isolation tank for my female G. steindachneri so I pulled this 24x16x16 fiberglass tank out of the barn.
Filtration was relatively easy, as I have it plumbed to my central sump system.
I cobbled together an acrylic top from scraps I had - PVC glue will do a decent job of bonding acrylic for non-critical joints, by the way.
The substrate is CaribSea "Torpedo Beach". You could call it a fine gravel or coarse sand, depending on how you look at it. The driftwood is all locally collected stuff.
Anyways, it is definitely nothing special, but I thought I would still share it. Now I just need to figure out what to do with it once the fry are grown.
