Im a little wrried about my Synspilum's size. Theses are the details:
~8 inches
with me for 1.5 yrs
lives in 110G
sex unknown
Tankmates Silver dollars and Acaras. (so no aggression )

feeds on frozen peas, Hikari Gold, NLS, zucchinis and Spirulina with 50% weekly w/c and good water parameters.

I dunno.... for one and a half yr and 8", is that appropriate size? Not really the tank buster 17" i was expecting. Maybe it's stunt growth (but I do look after it well) :(

heres some recent pics:
(let me know if you need a wider shot to determined)

8" in 18 months is about right. Some may grow a little faster some slower nothing to worry about.

No, actually that is quite slow. Mine hit 12 inch in a year. That is not "a little faster"..

Other then that the fish does look great.. is he still growing? Even if he only grows an inch every couple months then at least he is still getting bigger.
