I wanted to share this with you guys. You’ll have to bear with me as this is my first time ever doing anything like this. Please excuse the terrible pics... I took them with my phone.

Planning layout… (I ended up going with a Cascade canister filter instead of this ReptoFilter)

Drawing/cutting out rock shapes for background.

Cut and sanded small foam rocks.

1st coat of Drylock on foam background.

1st coat of Drylock on small foam rocks.

Final coat of Drylock on background.

Background in place. (Should have used black silicone…)

Left side.

Background and left side in place.

Working on right side/waterfall.

Cut out and sanded.

1st coat of Drylock.

Final coat of Drylock.

Background and both sides in place.

Stacking up foam rocks.

Used Great Stuff Foam to create top layer on rocks.

Drylocked Great Stuff.

Water! (The heater isn’t staying like that).

Sand.

Well, here it is so far until I can think of what else to do with it.

Under the water line.

My little Axolotl, (Terrible pic I know…).

THANKS FOR LOOKING!
