Hi all,
Getting ready for an upgrade. My fishes are starting to outgrow their tanks. Cut the plywood and squared it out today. Bracing will be next. Tank dimension is 77"L x 36"w x 24"H. Comments and suggestions are very welcome. If you have ideas on how to improve this project please let me know, it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.DSCF0086.jpgDSCF0083.jpgDSCF0111.jpgDSCF0121.jpgDSCF0123.jpgDSCF0125.jpg

Thanks, it will be sealed with liquid rubber. Finally found a distributor who's willing to ship it here. So now I can say goodbye to Drylok. Glass for viewing window. A friend gave me a used 3/8" thick aquarium glass buffed it a little and I think should be good to go. I'm working on the bracing atm and will update soon.

Nice work. Love Guam, was there on business earlier this year. Have you checked into getting sweetwater epoxy shipped there? With the potential troubles with liquid rubber this may be a better option because you can silicone directly to the epoxy.

Thanks John. Sweetwater was my first choice but unfortunately the shipping cost is too much. They quoted me for $650 for just a gallon plus shipping because its hazmat. I read your build too before I started this project, and that's one cool OHF you got there. Good to hear you enjoyed your short stay here looking forward to meeting you in person next time you fly in.

Just an update, sorry for the slow progress. Working on it a little at a time.
Finished bracing the tank. Wrapped more plywood on top, bottom and around the corners. Also applied FG resin on the glass frame for the silicone and LR to hold on to. Special thanks to BadOleRoss for coming up with this idea, saved me a lot of time.
