kendragon's cichla filter project

Just hooked up an experimental filter. Could this improve color, body conformation and growth? We'll see. This filter media is not available for purchase today. As I stated, totally experimental. After the first day the water is polished to extreme clarity. Will this sustain? I expect it will take a couple of weeks for the thin film to develop.
If my tester basses turn out good, this filter will be my new X-filter. I think my bahia filter is okay but could be better.
