I have a 6" motoro sting ray and my Geophagus Altifron has taken a liken to its tail. My question is will this repeated attack on his tail kill him and is their any way to stop this other than removing the ray?

The ray may elect to stop it by sticking a stinger through its head. Removing the geophagus is another option, of course. If the tail continually gets nipped and gets infected, yes, it could be very troublesome. If I had a fish nipping any of my rays I'd remove the fish. Currently my ray tanks only have rays in them precisely so I don't have this kinda issue.

I had five 1 inch bala sharks that did this to my motoro pup the first day I got him. Came downstairs the next morning and there was only one left. The survivor now avoids him like the plague.
