Hey guys

Does anyone have any experience or input into whether motoro rays can be kept permanently in brackish water.

I have a pair that I would like to put in a system that is running approximately 6ppt salt.

Any info on this would be great.

Thanks

So by they wont do that well, do you mean if all other parameters are closely monitored and kept in safe levels they should be ok or it flat out just wont work.
Thanks

I wouldn't do it at all, but that's just my $.02 on it. Salt changes the way they osmoregulate their bodys (keep the salinity of their body in check with the water around them). Forcing them to do that adds stress.
