    Tire track eel able to break its spine?

    I gotta then zig-zag or tire track maybe 3 days ago its 7" but i couldnt really get a good pic it hasnt been eating and i think it broke its spine idk how? but this happened to my fire eel where it couldnt swim properly what is wrong with it?

    it can have a growth deformation from water quality being low. thats all i can think of

    i mean what if my catfish is crazy and fights with him for the cave can that break his spine?

    deng haha but the catfish is like 3-4" and hes about 7" i thought he would be stronger then a 3" eel

    any things possible but i highly doubt that the catfish did it what exactly do you mean ? how does it swim that is worrying you ? and for the not eating thats pretty normal and very very common for new eels all most all of the spiny eels i've had have gone on many hunger strikes

    Try giveing it some time and make sure the waters clean do a few good water changes and just give him time to settle in

    Try feeding it Blood worms, earth worms, red wigglers, brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, krill, and regular shrimp the kind people eat
