I'm thinking about buying a motoro stingray, it's about 8" wide. Do you think it will go with these fishes:..? My tank type is Juwel Rio 400L and I have the original pump system and Fluwal FX5. Do you think it would be enaught for the first two years?

1# spotted Gar/Lepisosteus oculatus 10"
1# Ropefish/Erpetoichthys calabaricus 15"
1# Polypterus Ornatipinnis 15"
1# Polypterus Senegalus 10"
2# Polypterus Palmas Palmas 12"
4# Polypterus Palmas Polli 12"
2# Polypterus Lapradei 12"
1# Black Ghost 10"

Hmm, that's only 100 gallons, and your pretty full on the bottom as is.. And the ray would outgrow it before 2 years, and it would probably eat the brown knife..

Just my 2 cents, keep what you got until you can upgrade to a much bigger tank. Good luck

Everything on your list with poly in the name is a no go. Bichirs and rays don't generally mix well, I have seen it done but not recomended.
