Got a delhezi arriving from dangerous dan in the next hour or so to add to my senegals, ornate and congicus and with it a semiprochidilus cp. Insignis (fei feng) and messiner warned me the fei feng might be a problem.

anyone else think this or have experience of keeping one with the other? also got a lima shovelnose cat coming as thought my messy eating bichirs could do with a few cleaners.

Fei Feng have mouths built to suck. Most likely they will end up sucking on your bichirs, along with every other surface of your tank. Not good tankmate for bichirs IMO, but you may get an exception.

Also, lima shovelnoses are messy eaters themselves, not great for cleaning up, they don't go after scraps. Better off going for large syno species

Kept S.limas in the past and they definitely need their own separate feeds. Great fish to have but if you want it to grow then it'll need whitebait & shrimps (smaller ones plenty of bloodworms). Its great to watch thier bellys extend after a good feed.
