Lillie pads in aquariums, I'm curious if its been done? My own exposure to them would indicate they can expand and over take/kill of stuff just thinking about the ones by my parents cabin. Would they be able to get enough light in an aquarium? Would potting them slow or stunt their development enough that one could be kept in an aquarium? Are their any smaller lillie pads out there? Something more aquarium appropriate?

Just pondering not any sorta immediate plans but noticed there is next to nothing on them in aquariums.

I keep banana plants, and the various "bulb types" sold at stores - they do well (except for the fact that the fish are always chewing them up, and eating them - the regular ones do need a LOT of light.
