Severums have only been proven to hybridize with other Heros Sp. and are not involved in the creation of Blood Parrots.
Guidelines to Hybridization in American CichlidsKids, you tried your best and you failed miserably. The lesson is, never try.

this is what i found online ....................... parrot cichlid (also known as bloody parrot; no binomial nomenclature) is a hybrid cichlid. The fish was first created in Taiwan in around 1986.[1] Its parentage consists of the Midas cichlid and the red head cichlid.
