Giving this a shot had a 55 FOWLR a few years back just didn't really interest me much as my fresh water did. Will get pics up as i go this is what i have so far will be slowly dong this.

20 Long
Glass top
Deep Blue Professionals SolarmaxH.O. T5HO 2x24w (may end up getting another or get a 4x24w fixture)
Fluval M100 Submersible Heater
Aqua clear 300 did the refugium mod to it but will probably only put carbon in it
1x Hydor koralia 240gph pump going to get one more
20lbs of Fiji live sand
not sure on how much rock i have in there a lot of it is from the 55 when i had that going just picked up 3 smaller pieces to help seed the old live rock.

Havent checked the water going to pick up my test kit from my dads, the one thing is that my water salinity is right at 1.027 right now is this to high or just fine?

1.027 is a tad high. do a small 1-2gallon water change with freshwater to lower it. Do that once a day till its around 1.023-1.024. What are you think about for stocking the tank? If you want a monster for that tank I would highly recommend a larger species of mantis shrimp. They are amazing creatures and true monsters

Picked up about 10.5 lbs of more live rock got a bunch of hitch hikers with these from small snail's, feather dusters, and a few brittle star fish. Also picked up five sand sifting snails, was supposed to be six but one turned out to be a little hermit crab.

Going to wait another week or so before i add any fish to it, i'm still not sure of what i'm going to put in there but i'm leaning towards some type of blenny, goby, or jawfish, and maybe a clown or two. Also would my light work for some mushrooms and Zoanthids?

Just a little up date on the tank, i currently have 1 scarlet skunk cleaner shrimp, 5 red leg hermit crabs, 2 blue legs, 5 Nassarius snails, 3 Astrea snails, 1 yellow damsel, a group of unknown polyps, a rock of green mushrooms, and a rock with some waving hands coral.I also ended up getting 2 Reef bright led 50/50 15" strips since they didn't have any 30" one i do plan on getting a 30" one once they get them in, also i'm working on making a 15 gal refugium/sump for it.

Planning on getting a pair of ocellaris clowns, another cleaner shrimp, a goby of som type dont know what to go with yet, probably some more mushrooms, polyps, zoes, ricordea mushrooms, colt coral, but wont be doing that untill i get the sump going.

Thanks, i'm planning on doing a 40 breeder next as well as maybe doing a cat shark in my 220.
I have a 40 breeder reef tank going right now with a couple corals in it. I was just going to frag out my 75gal for it but I ended up piecing it out on craigslist. I like the 40's. Good length, depth and width.
